My approach is designed to help sensitive women move from anxiety and low self-esteem to soulful empowerment. Using the Reach Approach framework, I blend talking therapy with breathwork, visualisation, and mindfulness to create deep and lasting transformation so you can love your sensitivity and live a life of presence and ease.

No matter how challenging things might seem. I can help. Together we can explore the subconscious patterns that are influencing you from a root cause perspective, develop gentle boundaries, learn practical tools to help regulate your nervous system, and build confidence that will support you long after therapy ends.

Anxiety, overwhelm, and low self-esteem are interconnected in multiple ways. It can sometimes feel like they are part of your personality and can’t be changed, especially if you’re sensitive. You may worry about the past and future, or have constant self-doubt. You may also be sleeping poorly or feeling fatigued.

These challenges can manifest in emotional, physical, and psychological ways that are different for each person. This is why a synergistic mind-body-spirit approach is powerful, because it supports you from a whole person perspective, offering foundational long-lasting change.

MY STORY


Hi there, I’m Hayley,

If you’re a sensitive woman, you’ve probably spent years feeling like you have to hold everything together – managing others’ emotions, striving to meet expectations, and pushing through exhaustion.

I understand this deeply. Not just from my work as a psychotherapist, but from my own lived experience. I was a chronically shy young woman, struggling with over-drinking and trying to be loud. But over many years of working on myself, I discovered how to be unapologetically me - quietly strong.

My own journey of self-discovery led me to explore nervous system regulation, deep rooted patterns, and spirituality – approaches that transformed my understanding of both myself and the work I do with clients.

Musical self-expression has also been a lifelong part of my healing journey. I even earned a Master’s and PhD in music psychology, exploring the deep connection between music and emotion.

Outside of therapy, you’ll find me writing songs, singing, or playing guitar and piano, moving my body, or recharging in nature. I love yoga, travelling (especially to South-East Asia) and losing myself in good music (trip-hop and electronica have my heart). Creativity, movement, and connection are essential parts of my well-being, and I encourage my clients to do the same.

How do I get started?

What is your fee?

My fee is £60 per 60 minute session (for in person and online therapy).

Do you offer in-person or online therapy?

I practice in Buxton and Leek as well as online. Please contact me for more information about session availability. Please note that international clients are governed by UK law.
