Terms and Conditions: Online Courses
These terms apply when you buy any online course from ‘Hayley Trower Psychotherapy’, run by Dr Hayley Trower, 11 Parker Street, Leek, ST136LB, UK. You can contact me at hello@hayleytrower.com. By completing your purchase, you agree to these terms, along with the details for your specific course set out further down this page.
Your course
What’s included in each course, how it’s delivered and how long you’ll have access are set out in the Course details section below. If you have any trouble accessing your course, please check your spam or promotions folder first, and then get in touch so I can help.
Your access
Where a course is delivered by email, the emails are yours to keep for as long as you like. Where a course includes private videos or other online content, you’ll be able to access it for as long as I continue to offer that course, and if I ever stop offering it, I’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email so you have time to revisit anything you’d like to.
Refunds and your right to cancel
Because my courses are digital content that starts as soon as you buy, by completing your purchase you agree that your access begins straight away, and you acknowledge that this means you lose your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. For this reason, I don’t offer refunds once your purchase is complete, unless the details for your course say otherwise. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights, so if something isn’t as described or there’s a technical problem I can’t fix, please get in touch and I’ll put it right.
Important health information
My courses are educational and aren’t medical advice, therapy, or a substitute for treatment from a qualified professional. Some courses include breathwork and meditation, which are gentle, but please listen to your body, stop if anything feels uncomfortable, and check with your GP first if you’re pregnant or have any health conditions you’re unsure about. Some courses also include specific health information, which you’ll find in the details for that course.
If you’re struggling and need support, please contact your GP, call NHS 111, or call Samaritans on 116 123 at any time. If you feel at risk of harming yourself, call 999 or go to A&E.
Using the course content
All course materials, including emails, videos, meditations and breathwork, belong to me and are for your personal use only. Please don’t share, copy, resell or forward the private content, though I’m always delighted if you tell people about my courses so they can join themselves.
Your information
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and course emails are sent through MailerLite. I’ll only use your email address to deliver your course and contact you about it, unless you’ve chosen to join my newsletter. You can read more in my [privacy policy, with link].
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time, for example when I add a new course, and the version that applies to you is the one in place when you bought your course.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
